The December Invitation: Release Before You Rise
Hello Beautiful Woman,
December has a way of drawing out everything we’ve been avoiding.
The noise gets louder.
The expectations rise.
The emotional load stretches just a little too thin.
And if you’re anything like the women I work with — the strong ones, the steady ones, the ones who make life look effortless…
There’s a moment each December where you pause and quietly think:
“I shouldn’t be this tired.”
Not physically tired — soul tired.
The kind of tired that comes from carrying roles you never chose, responsibilities you never asked for, and pressure that somehow always finds its way to your shoulders.
But here’s what I want to offer you this month:
December isn’t a finish line.
It’s an invitation.

THE DECEMBER INVITATION: Three Shifts That Will Change How You Enter 2026
Not resolutions.
Not goals.
Not productivity hacks.
Just three shifts that will help you breathe again — and rise again — without carrying another recycled year of silent overwhelm.
—
1. Your worth is not measured by what you hold.
Women are raised to carry.
Carry responsibility.
Carry emotion.
Carry the family.
Carry the weight no one else sees.
And we do it well — we always have.
But somewhere along the way, the carrying becomes the identity.
The “strong one.”
The “go-to.”
The “responsible one.”
Here’s the truth:
Being capable does not mean you must be the carrier.
Being strong does not mean you are not allowed to set something down.
You do not earn rest.
Rest is your birthright.
And December is your reminder.
2. Overwhelm is not failure — it’s information.
Most women think overwhelm means:
“I’m not doing enough.”
“I’m falling behind.”
“Everyone else handles this better than I do.”
But overwhelm is not a performance issue.
It’s a message from your subconscious that something needs to be released.
Overwhelm is the whisper beneath the noise saying:
“This pace isn’t sustainable.”
“This expectation isn’t yours.”
“This role is costing too much.”
“Something inside you is asking for freedom.”
You are not overwhelmed because you are weak.
You are overwhelmed because you learned to survive more than any person should ever have to.
And survival is not the same as living.
3. You do not need to enter the new year carrying this year’s pain.
Healing isn’t about erasing what happened.
It’s about releasing the part of it that still lives in your body.
The narratives.
The Blocks.
The identities you inherited, not chose.
The emotions you swallowed so you could get through one more day.
So many women enter the new year with the same wounds, the same patterns, the same exhaustion…
And expect fresh results.
Here’s the truth I had to learn for myself:
You don’t rise by adding more.
You rise by releasing what is crushing your power.
This December, give yourself permission to release.
Release the performance.
Release the pressure.
Release the responsibility that was never yours.
Release the belief that you must be everything for everyone.
Release so you can rise.

A QUIET DECEMBER MESSAGE JUST FOR YOU
If no one has said this lately:
You deserve a December that sees you.
Not one that drains you.
You deserve a month that brings you back to yourself.
Not one that pulls you in every direction.
And you deserve space — real space — to breathe, reflect, and begin again.

Final December Thought
You don’t need to end this year smaller than you began it.
You don’t need to carry one more day of silent overwhelm.
You don’t need to prove anything to anyone — not anymore.
This December is your invitation to lay it down…
so you can rise into everything that has always been yours.
With truth + love,
Jodi
